The SFN Labs are for network members only and here is roughly how they work. A script writer chooses a scene from their script to be acted out and filmed. The idea being that SFN members could each rotate through the different disciplines that they are interested in learning.
Each laboratory would provide a place to practice acting, lighting, staging, camera work, directing, editing, hair, makeup, etc. The lab would provide a finished piece that could then be viewed and evaluated at one of the monthly SFN meetings.
Sound interesting?
