Creating a community of filmmakers in Sandpoint
by Aric Spence
My interest in photography goes back to childhood when I received a Canon FTB and 50mm lens. Eventually photography brought me to capturing moving images which has fueled my love for crafting cinematic stories ever since. I have an affinity for vintage lenses because of the more film-like look they provide and love to use them when appropriate.
Become part of the pool of local resources that will help filmmakers share knowledge and skills while practicing various aspects of filmmaking. All levels of interest and expertise are encouraged to join.

Aric, I love love love that you can just make a website, make a whole new page just for a project. That is an awesome and very useful skill when it comes to production and project planning in general! BTW, I see that you chose a few “Twin Peaks” photos for the waitress costume. I was hoping you would, as I always thought that the diner and the waitress uniform in that show was a perfectly idealistice version of the american eat-out diner.

Yes, I love the idealized diner attire. Seems like slacks and t-shirts have taken over the waiter/waitress uniforms scene these days. Not that I think a waitress has to wear a dress, but the experience at a diner seems a little more genuine with the proper expected attire.
